A key challenge to the rebrand was having to account for an elevated presentation of the various Bowl games and National Championhip. I developed a customized tiering system that reskins and redresses the core graphics package for each Bowl event.
Rarely do project timelines allow for a thorough creative develepment phase. Troika's longstanding relationship with ESPN afforded us an early in for the rebrand, which in turn gave me the opportunity to spend more time ideating with pencil and paper instead of having to get straight on to the box. Below is the selected "Mania" concept that served as the basis for the rebrand as well as some early concept sketches.
